Michelle Belgiorno-Nettis
CHAIR
Michelle is an exhibiting artist represented by Art Atrium and has a BA Fine Arts (painting), BA Honours Japanese and a Master of Commerce. Michelle has a background in corporate communications and extensive experience in the philanthropic sector in Australia, particularly in arts and environmental conservation. Michelle has previously been Deputy Chair of the Ngununggula Regional Art Gallery, a Director of the Australian Wildlife Conservancy and is a Director of several private companies.
Sue Jackson BA/LLB

Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW; GradDip (Public Relations); GAICD
Sue is currently President of the Art Gallery Society of NSW and was previously Treasurer for several years. She is a life member of the Tamarama Surf Lifesaving Club, an involvement that began in 2002. She held the role of Director and Honorary Secretary of the Alliance Française de Sydney from 2003 to 2007. She runs the business writing consultancy, Written Advantage.
Paula Latos-Valier AM
ART DIRECTOR AND TRUSTEE
In 2024 Paula completed a 9 year term as Vice-President of the Art Gallery Society of NSW (2015 – 2024); Chair, S H Ervin Gallery Advisory Committee (since 2010); Art Director of the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation (since 2011). Formerly Managing Director of the Biennale of Sydney; Director of the Art Gallery of WA; Project Manager, Australia Council; International Exhibition Manager, Australian Gallery Director’s Council. Former roles in the not-for-profit sector include participation on the boards of: the Australian-American Fulbright Commission; the VACB of Australia Council; the Alliance Francaise de Sydney. Awarded a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (2005).
Susan Dadswell OAM

Council member of the Art Gallery Society (2012-2021), the governing body of the 37,000-strong members organisation of the Art Gallery of NSW;
Coordinator of the Art Gallery of NSW volunteer group (2010-2020) and volunteer since 2008;
Ongoing volunteer work: the City of Sydney Archives and the Sydney Eisteddfod; Chair/Secretary (since 2002) of an Owners Corporation comprising 290 lots;
President (1994-1997) and member for 15 years of Cranbrook School’s Mothers’ Committee, a fundraising committee which liaised with the headmaster, school staff and director of the school’s Foundation;
Legal secretary to senior law firm partners in Sydney and London (1962-1976);
Court reporter, the NSW Conciliation & Arbitration Commission (1967-1969);
Manager and executive assistant to directors of Sydney’s preeminent rare books and manuscripts company (1978-2008);
Awards:
In 2023 the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM), Australia Day Honours; in 2024 Lifelong Membership in the Art Gallery Society.
Emma Ringland
ASSOCIATE TRUSTEE
Emma is a purposeful communicator and relationship-builder. Following a legal career in Australia and the UK, she has more recently held senior roles in the financial services and energy sectors, and is currently the Head of Regulation and Investments at Endeavour Energy. Emma is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Hons 1) from the University of Sydney.
