The Dobell Art Foundation is pleased to support Bonnie Huang: Dare to Dream, a powerful new art project developed through the MCA’s C3West program and delivered in partnership with ACON.
This initiative brings together culturally and linguistically diverse LGBTQ+ communities in Western Sydney, creating space for storytelling, self-expression, and collective creativity. Through workshops and community engagement, artist Bonnie Huang is working side-by-side with participants to co-create large-scale artworks that reflect their lived experiences, aspirations, and rich cultural identities.
C3West is one of the MCA’s key programs that brings artists and communities together to create art that directly responds to local concerns in Western Sydney. It partners with local organisations and businesses to identify areas of need, developing artist-led projects that are genuinely collaborative and socially engaged.
The Dobell Art Foundation is delighted to contribute to this art project and the MCA’s ongoing C3West program that connects contemporary artists with local communities and supports education, inclusion and engagement.
